As a Technical Narrative Designer, I owned the design and implementation of key narrative areas throughout the game. Areas I worked on include:
Asgard
Svartalfheim
Odin’s House
Ragnarok
Work included
Finagling NPCs to properly animate, run dialogue, participate in combat
Transition into, out of, and properly run cutscenes using our custom built tools
Managing memory as players traversed various areas of the playable world, carefully hiding loading and unloading of assets
As part of my duties on the Narrative team, I also worked on the blockout, design, and implementation of the Dream Realm level.
