As part of a mapping competition for the “Design Den” discord community, I designed a Valorant map.
Spent some time with friends talking about the formula for a good Valorant Map. Created a rough version and took several passes to clean up the sightlines, make purposeful entries and rotates from sites, and take account for timings from fight to fight. I made some basic 3D blockout versions of locations to get a feel for overall gameplay, but called it good once the pitchable layout seemed workable.
